Caitlin Mitchell is the Manager of Programs & Learning at EMpower. She serves as a key partner to the VP of Programs to manage EMpower’s global grantmaking budgets, processes and special award initiatives. She spearheads portfolio outcomes evaluation and reporting, detecting and sharing conclusions and trends to sharpen understanding of impact and grantmaking effectiveness. She is responsible for strengthening knowledge management systems within EMpower – tools, resources, learnings – and fostering systems and a culture of cross-learning. She is a key contributor to institutional development and communications efforts.
Caitlin has worked for EMpower for eight years, in successively more challenging roles. Prior to joining EMpower, Ms. Mitchell served as the Latin America Program Assistant at the International Women’s Health Coalition. Ms. Mitchell received a Bachelor’s degree at Pepperdine University, and a Master of Public Administration in International Development from New York University’s Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service.
