Citi e for education announces $4 million total at closing event!

On 29 November EMpower was excited to attend the Citi e for education closing event in London at the National Portrait Gallery. Neha Broota, Development and Engagement Manager, and Jeremy Llewelyn, Board Co-Chair in UK, joined other beneficiary charities to celebrate the campaign’s incredible total raised: $4 million! This total will be split equally between the 7 organizations.

EMpower is hugely grateful to be chosen as a beneficiary of the campaign for a 4^th year, in which Citi donated $1 for every $1million of FX transacted electronically between 12 September to 18 November.

Support from Citi e for education has been, and continues to be, a game-changer in boosting EMpower’s work to educate at-risk youth in emerging market countries.
