Creating change all year long

As the New Year begins, ​EMpower grantee partner Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation shared some of the incredible impact their work has had during the past year. In 2016, Blue Dragon:

• rescued 84 young people and adults trafficked into slavery
• provided legal representation for 21 victims of trafficking and child sexual abuse
• met 78 new homeless children in Hanoi and provided them with emergency care
• sent 939 young people to school and 54 to vocational training
• trained 2,264 police, local officials and community leaders in 22 sessions on human trafficking
• and more…
