We are thrilled to announce that EMpower will again be a beneficiary of Citi's e for education campaign! The 6th annual campaign launched Tuesday, 4 September and will run until 2 November. EMpower is proud to have been chosen as one of the ten philanthropic organizations that will benefit from the campaign this year!

For the next 9 weeks, Citi's Foreign Exchange and Local Markets business will donate $1 for every $1 million traded with Citi via a broad range of electronic platforms including Citi’s proprietary platforms- Citi Velocity for institutional clients and CitiFX Pulse for corporate clients.  For the first time this year, the campaign will include local market bonds, in addition to FX.

This incredible initiative has raised over $22.5 million since the campaign's inception in 2013, supporting the education of over 250,000 youth globally. As a beneficiary of the campaign, the support of e for education has enabled EMpower to deepen and expand our work in education, enabling at-risk youth in EM countries to receive a quality, relevant education. Learn more about how our work with local grantee partners in 15 countries is supporting some of the most disadvantaged and hard-to-reach youth to access education HERE.
