Summer Celebration for a Cause

Summer Party with EMpower brought together nearly 100 people on July 14th for a fun day for a good cause! The party, generously hosted by Eric Jayaweera at his beautiful Greenwich, CT home, was a celebration of summer in support of EMpower.

Guests, who included many from the Greenwich and emerging markets financial communities, enjoyed delicious food and drink while rocking out to the sounds of the band Big Deal. The stunning modern home also showcased an extensive art exhibition by Isabella Garrucho Fine Art, featuring artworks by artists including Andrea Bonfils, Terry O’Neill, David Yarrow and more. The paintings and photographs that lined the soaring walls were available for purchase, with a portion of the proceeds generously donated to support EMpower.

Attendees also enjoyed wine tasting by Horseneck Wines, and supported EMpower through direct donations and a silent auction. The auction included experiences such as a Tradewind Aviation vacation getaway donated by Beachfronts Travel, prime Yankees tickets donated by John Wolf, food truck service by M&M Steaks Connecticut donated by Dan Mullineaux, and private ski lessons donated by Marta Cabrera.
