Nicole Rajani

Head of Global Communications

Nicole leads EMpower’s global communications and marketing.

She has more than two decades of experience in strategic communications and marketing for women’s and youth organisations, including the Women’s Refugee Commission, EngenderHealth, and International Women’s Health Coalition. She has developed and implemented wide-ranging communications plans and successfully employed traditional and digital strategy to raise the visibility of organisations and their critical work. She has consulted for a range of large and small nonprofit organisations, creating plans and campaigns to elevate their profiles and advocate for change.

She is committed to advancing the rights of girls and young women. Throughout her career, she has sought to amplify the voices of those who have been traditionally underrepresented and to fight for social justice through storytelling. She strives to cut through the noise and find the stories that should be heard loudly.

Nicole has a Bachelor of Arts in English from Vassar College and a Master of Arts in Media Studies from the University of London, SOAS.
