Shaala Bawa is the Development and Operations Assistant for the London office, where she works to support the Development team. She has an Honour’s degree in Philosophy and English Literature from the University of Edinburgh, and a Master’s degree in International Studies and Diplomacy from SOAS in London. Before working for EMpower, Shaala worked within special needs education promoting inclusive learning as well as volunteering with a number of charities and organisations in South Africa and the UK.
