Mayank Bhatia is EMpower's Global Finance Controller. He has over 12 years of experience in both non-profit and international development organisations, focusing on financial management, regulatory compliance, accounting systems, and audit coordination. In his most recent role at Oxford Policy Management Ltd, he served as Finance Manager, overseeing end-to-end financial operations, ensuring adherence to statutory requirements, and supporting multi-country teams with financial planning and control, including managing international accounts.

Prior to OPM, Mayank held key finance roles at CBCI-CARD and Centers for International Projects Trust, where he led financial reporting, compliance for donor-funded projects including USAID and Global Fund, and managed statutory audits and budgeting processes. His expertise spans across TDS and GST compliance, internal controls, financial system optimisation, and capacity building of finance teams.

He is a qualified Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor of Commerce from Delhi University.

Outside of work, Mayank enjoys spending time with family and loves to play any sport.
