Sara Saad is the Global Communications Associate at EMpower. She assists in implementing the organisation’s annual global marketing and communications plan, oversees the organisation’s editorial calendar, and manages EMpower's social media handles and website while creating graphics and content for international days of significance and fundraising campaigns, along with other communications collaterals. She is also responsible for conceptualising and integrating youth voices into EMpower’s communications and marketing.

Before joining EMpower, she worked as a Communications Officer at Rajiv Gandhi Charitable Trust, where she managed the organisation's internal and external communications. She is an expert in video and audio production.

Suffering from a severe case of Tsundoku (the art of buying books and never reading them), Sara hopes to read all the books on her bookshelf!

Sara holds a Master’s Degree in Development Communication from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, and a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Economics from Lucknow University, India.
