Karm Marg Charitable Society
Current Grant:
EMpower’s third grant to Karm Marg Charitable Society will support 170 youth (10-24) within Karm Marg (which is a residential facility for children and youth) as well as within 3 government schools (in the neighbourhood) by: deepening exposure to STEM pathways for in-school youth, addressing learning needs of out-of-school youth, responding to behavioural issues through the medium of play, creating and coaching a mixed gender group to compete in Ultimate Frisbee at the national level, and building out a second-in-line to decentralise decision-making and enhance leadership skills by transitioning out of a founder-driven approach
