Sara Saad

Global Communications Associate

Languages Spoken: Fluent English, Hindi, Urdu. Basic Arabic

Sara Saad is the Global Communications Associate at EMpower. She is responsible for assisting in implementing the organisation’s annual global marketing and communications plan. She oversees the organisation’s editorial calendar and manage the social media handles of EMpower while creating graphics and content for international days of significance and fundraising campaigns, along with other communications collaterals. She is also responsible for conceptualising and integrating youth voices into EMpower’s communications and marketing.

Prior to joining EMpower, she worked as a Communications Officer at Rajiv Gandhi Charitable Trust where she managed the internal and external communications of the organization. She has an expertise in video and audio production.

Suffering from a severe case of Tsundoku (the art of buying books and never reading them), Sara one day hopes to read all the books on her bookshelf!

Sara holds a Master’s Degree in Development Communication from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, and a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Economics from Lucknow University, India.
