Annual Dinner in Singapore

EMpower held its Annual Dinner in support of youth on April 27th, 2023 in Singapore. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who attended the dinner at OSO Ristorante, Oasia Downtown. Your unwavering support and generosity helped us raise over US$310,000! This support will have a significant impact on the lives of young people in emerging Asia. A special shout-out to our fantastic board directors and underwriters for their leadership in making this event a success: Aleem and Myrna Jivraj, Avon Neo, and Maddy Foo, with special thanks to Martin Watson of Citi and Sophine Chin, who was a table host.

We'd also like to express our gratitude to Tam Pham Thi Thanh, Executive Director of our grantee partner REACH Vietnam, whose speech left a lasting impression on us all. Tam spoke about her 20 years with REACH and the work she and her team do every day to enable young people to achieve their dreams: “That is the kind of transformation we have always fostered at REACH. Watching our students transform into confident, capable, and excited graduates is what drives us and fills us and our supporters with enormous pride.”
