Next Gen Cocktail Party 2024: Young Professionals Unite for Global Impact

On November 7th, EMpower welcomed 70 mission-driven young professionals to our Next Gen Cocktail Party in New York City!

The event brought together a dynamic group of individuals, all committed to supporting EMpower’s mission of empowering marginalised youth in emerging markets. Our dedicated Next Gen Co-Chairs, Joana Barros-Magalhães and Daniel Stewart, alongside Board Director Rekha Nair, shared inspiring insights about the transformative work of EMpower and the vital role of the Next Gen Council—a vibrant network of young leaders amplifying our mission.

We also celebrated the contributions of our incredible Next Gen Council members: Cole Bond, Jason Kong, Júlia Lino Oliveira, Monia Bianco, Winnie Tang, Catalina Sanchez-Carrion, and Merve Pekdemir, who are driving meaningful change with their energy, ideas, and networks.

Events like the Next Gen Cocktail Party exemplify the power of community and collective action, enabling us to expand our impact globally. Together, we are empowering young people not only to dream but to shape their own futures.
