$6.25 million raised by Citi’s e for education campaign!

Over the past 5 years, Citi’s e for education campaign has raised more than $22.5 million for education-focused nonprofits. Last night, we were honored to attend the closing event in London, where it was revealed that this year’s campaign raised an incredible $6.25 million! Over the past ten weeks, Citi’s Foreign Exchange and Local Markets (FXLM) business has donated $1 for every $1 million of FX that clients traded via a broad range of electronic platforms.

As one of the seven philanthropic organizations to benefit from the campaign, EMpower will be able to expand and deepen our work, increasing our impact on the lives of at-risk youth in emerging market countries. We are so grateful to Citi for their continued support and belief in our work and that of our amazing grantee partners.
