Eliana Elias, Co-Founder and Executive Director of EMpower grantee partner Minga Peru, spoke to 200 international human rights funders today at IHRFG’s 2016 Conference "Seizing Opportunities: Sustaining the Human Rights Movement” on the importance of investing in the strategic communications of grantee partners. The session, “Communicating Human Rights in Latin America: Strengthening Grassroots Capacity in Strategic Communications,” was organized by Cynthia Steele, Executive Vice President, EMpower and Jenny Petrow, Foundation Representative of The Inter-American Foundation.
