Summer Party with EMpower took place on June 22nd, bringing together the Greenwich and emerging markets financial communities for a party for a cause! Over 100 people gathered for a beautiful day, hosted by supporter Eric Jayaweera at his stunning Greenwich, CT home.

The party was in support of EMpower’s work changing the lives of at-risk young people in emerging market countries. Eric Jayaweera and EMpower supporter Jens Nystedt both shared why it is important to them to give back, inspiring attendees to make a difference in a young person’s life. Thank you to all who donated!

During the party, guests enjoyed a fantastic performance by the band Captain Obvious, wine tasting by Putnam & Vine, and a gorgeous art exhibition by Isabella Garrucho Fine Art. A portion of the art sale proceeds were donated to EMpower.

They were also able to support through a silent auction with great items donated from local businesses - thank you to the following for your generosity! Alice and Olivia, Andrea Bonfils, Arthur Murray Dance Studio, Haute Healing Oasis, Maison d’ Alexandre, Dan Mullineaux and M&M Steaks food truck, RPM Raceway, Soul Cycle Greenwich, The Studio Greenwich, Tony's at the J House, and John Wolf.

Thank you to all who joined the stunning day in support of youth! See photos from the event HERE.
