Wonderful 2nd Annual Dinner in Support of Youth in Singapore!

EMpower’s 2nd Annual Dinner in Support of Youth brought together EMpower’s growing Singapore community for a fantastic event at OSO Restaurante on November 9th. Thank you to all who joined and to our donors, who raised $200,000 to empower at-risk youth!

Guests were deeply moved by featured speaker Đỗ Duy Vị, Crisis Care Team Leader from grantee partner Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation in Vietnam. Vi shared his inspiring story of how his life was transformed through becoming involved with Blue Dragon, that rescued him from the streets when he was young. Vi now works with Blue Dragon in their mission to rescue, rehabilitate and advocate for trafficking survivors and street youth. We were honored to hear his story, and are proud to partner with such an inspiring organization.

Attendees also learned more about EMpower’s story from President Marta Cabrera, and EMpower’s work and partnership from HK Board Chair Ben Hall. Thank you to Ross Hamou-Jennings and Sandeep Gupta for energizing the crowd to donate in our fundraising!
