Record-Breaking Annual Dinner in London!

On Wednesday, 15 November, 400 emerging market colleagues and good friends attended EMpower’s Annual Dinner in Support of Youth at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London!

Honoured guest speaker Joy Olivier, the Co-Founder and Director of South African grantee partner Ikamva Youth, shared how EMpower’s 10-year partnership has allowed them to make real strides in the empowerment of youth through educational support and mentoring, whilst also strengthening and growing their organisation. We were delighted that she was joined by Sipho Ngqayimbana, representing the voices of youth in South Africa, who shared his experience as a learner at Ikamva and how they have changed his life for the better.

Thanks to the incredible support of our Dinner Committee, Board of Directors, Underwriters and attendees, we raised an astonishing and record-breaking £1,319,319 to support at-risk youth!
