EMpower’s grantee partners need us now more than ever. Marginalised young people are and will be profoundly affected by COVID-19 across all 15 countries where we work. Our nearly 100 grantee partners are critical responders and resources in their communities, from providing masks, food and sanitizer gel distribution, to helping youth out of school continue their studies remotely. With more support, we can help thousands more. Each community is different and EMpower responds to their specific context and urgent need. At this time of crisis we bring flexibility, support and cash grants where they are needed.
Join the country and do the 2.6 Challenge
Normally we would challenge you to run a marathon or cycle up a mountain. With all events now cancelled, we ask you to participate in the 2.6 Challenge! The 2.6 Challenge can be any activity you like – Whether you’re running 2.6 miles, doing 26 press-ups, baking 26 cakes, we want your help! Choose your #TwoPointSixChallenge, head to the ‘donate or fundraise’ button on the Virgin Money Giving website, select EMpower as you chosen charity, and start your own fundraising campaign!
Help to inspire the nation by sharing pictures or videos of your challenge on social media, tagging EMpower, and using the official hashtag #TwoPointSixChallenge.

EMpower supporters are highly creative and develop their own campaigns – with sports activities, theme-focused events, or making an EMpower donation a “gift” at their wedding. Rally your friends and colleagues to join you in your goal to help at-risk youth get the opportunities they deserve. We help get you started and support your efforts.Yes!
