Global Reach: Past Grantees

In India, much work remains to eliminate continuing acceptance of violence against women and discrimination against those living with HIV. Breakthrough has developed a strategy that combines audience-friendly media and accompanying educational materials with peer-based education and local cultural forms of expression to raise awareness about human rights and effect large scale shifts in cultural norms and public opinion.
