Charlotte Tweedley

Assistant Program Officer

Charlotte Tweedley is an Assistant Program Officer at EMpower. She serves as a key partner to the Manager, Programs & Learning to manage EMpower’s global grantmaking budgets, processes, and special initiatives. She leads all grants administration at EMpower (100+ grants a year) and serves as the co-lead for the IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility) Task Force, a staff-led initiative, at EMpower.

Prior to joining EMpower, she served as an Office Coordinator at Success Academy Bronx 2 and as a Strategic Partnerships and Development Intern at Global Health Corps. Charlotte obtained a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs with a specialization in Latin American Studies from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
